(xxxxx) the go in a daily quest of the HOMO SAPIENS history and his remote ancestors, like myself - history of all of us from the traces and specimens which nature and mere coincidence, and rarely HOMO himself have preserved throughout centuries in geological layers, caves, temporal zones called "archeological", in acropolises, at the bottom of lakes, in ice…permitting sometimes a miraculous discovery and transportation to a laboratory, and finally, exhibition before the public beyond cold showcases of the museum - the encounter with the paintings of IZABELA ŠIMUNOVIĆ is sort of disarming!

It is disarming because her figures and backgrounds as contents of her paintings seem to denote brief illuminations, solutions…SOLUTIONS.

The experts and advanced modern technologies of my laboratory still fail to do that…

And the supermicroscope is always, I do not know why, unavoidably out of focus…WHY?

I am positive about that because I dreamed of it once myself.

The colours are the same, both for the background and figures, not the colours of video or PC in which I store my documents…

It is disarming because it is launched from space, resulting from fears, child's smile, smiling of women and men, launched from the past which is within us.

In my laboratory I still cannot, and I would not like to know what I am going to ask and in what language…

In fact, who of the two of us, the anthropologist and the artist, senses/feels…HOMO?

Who can perceive "what is beyond that" and "above everything", when and in what form… what "colour"?
